Salt Line Roofworks covers roofing on the Texas Coastal Bend: Corpus Christi, Portland, Rockport, Port Aransas and the towns around them. The pages here are about wind uplift, windstorm certification, what drives the price of a replacement and what the law says a contractor may and may not do on an insurance claim.

Salt Line Roofworks connects homeowners with independent local roofing companies. It does not carry out roofing work itself. When you call the number on this site or send the form, your request goes to one roofing company that covers your area. Not a list of nine, and nobody sells your number on. The site is operated by Marketing Doctor LLC.

Everything on these pages is written from published sources, and where a page states a legal requirement or an insurance rule it links to the body that publishes it, with the date it was last checked. If something here is out of date or wrong, it is worth telling us, because the whole point of the site is that the answers are straight.

What you will not find here is a claim to be something the site is not. No invented owner, no history, no photographs of a crew, no license numbers. Texas does not license roofing contractors at all, so anybody showing you a state roofing license for Texas is showing you something else.
